About DecantPricer
DecantPricer compares the price per millilitre of fragrance decants — small 1–15 ml samples of niche perfumes — across specialist stores, so you can smell more and overpay less.
Methodology
- We read each store's public product feed daily and extract every decant size and its price. The unit that matters is the price per millilitre: a $9 two-millilitre spray ($4.50/ml) is a worse deal than a $18 five-millilitre one ($3.60/ml).
- Fragrances are matched across stores by brand and normalised name, keeping the concentration (EDP, EDT, Extrait…) as part of the identity — an Extrait is not the same product as an EDP.
- The "gap" figure is how much cheaper the best store is versus the priciest store carrying the same fragrance, comparing each store's best decant price per ml (sizes 1–15 ml).
- Full bottles (30 ml and up, or "manufacturer's bottle" listings) are shown for reference only and never enter decant rankings.
- Price history is recorded on every change, powering the charts and the price-drop alerts.
What we are not
We are not a store and we sell nothing. Prices exclude shipping, which varies by store and country — always check the final basket. Availability and prices can change between our daily refreshes.
Independence
DecantPricer is independent and not affiliated with any perfume house or decant store. We may earn a commission when you buy through our outbound links; this never influences how offers are ranked — rankings are pure arithmetic on price per ml.
